Fixing these simple bugs will speed up your overall website, use less bandwidth, make it look more professional, and will support multiple browsers.

The last tip to Basic Website Security and Maintenance is getting rid of a folder in which can be dangerous on your server. This folder is named “cgi-sys” (not to confuse with “cgi-bin”). This folder is a bunch of useless applications for your server. Many exploits are found in these simple applications.
