However, we believe this virus is a complete hoax. The virus supposedly has many machines infected, but if this was true, a security analysis would have found, and traced it’s connection. The original Conficker virus is most probably a hoax, but there have been many replica’s of the virus. Some people have been throwing together a bunch of public exploits in which are meant to cause malicious harm to your computer, but if you have a basic updated anti-virus or firewall application, you’re secure!
